Your Story Is Not Over

This year, I’ve been feeling quite nostalgic. Recently, I watched the first episode of the ‘80s crime drama, Hunter. The show ran for seven seasons. The two main characters are Sergeant Rick Hunter and Sergeant Dee Dee McCall.

In one scene of this episode—season one, episode one—a serial killer breaks into Dee Dee’s apartment to try to kill her. When he broke into her apartment, I exclaimed, “Oh my God! Dee Dee, he’s gonna get you!”

I thought, “Don’t kill Dee Dee! No!”

Again, the show ran for seven seasons. This is season one, episode one—in the 1980s.

Why was I panicking? It’s 2026!

Dee Dee’s story can’t be over. She has six more seasons to go!

Because I panicked over one scene, I forgot about the whole story.

Like Dee Dee, you may be in a challenging scene of your life right now. But your story is not over.
