Since my daughter Jocelyn has been in middle school, I’ve tried to cultivate in her the habit of giving people thank-you cards when they give her a gift.
I tell her, “Yes, thank the people when they hand you the gift. But even after they hand you the gift, give them a thank-you card when you see them again.”
I’m training her to understand that there are a lot of things you can do too much of, but thanking people is not one of them.
As it is with people, so it is with our Provider. There are a lot of things we can do too much of, but thanking God is not one of them.
