Shopping for Shoes

When you buy a growing kid a pair of shoes, chances are you don’t buy shoes that are an exact fit. You probably select a shoe size that’s about a half size larger than the size they wear at the time.

That is, you likely buy a size based not on where they are in the present, but on where they will be in the future, with the expectation that they’ll grow into the shoes.

Oftentimes, when God gives you a word, when God gives you guidance or an idea, it may not apply precisely to where you are in the present, but to where you’re headed in the future.
