A couple months ago, while I’m in Bath and Body Works shopping for candles, the sales associate rushes toward me: “Try this! Have you tried this? You’ll like this! Try this!”
I tell her, “No, thank you. I know what I like.”
She says, “What do you like?”
I tell her, “Mahogany Vanilla, Lavender Vanilla, Fiji White Sands, Cactus Blossom, and Vanilla Patchouli.”
She says, “Oh. Okay.”
Despite all the other candles in the store, these five stand out to me.
Just as these five candles stand out to me, so also you stand out to God.
Although others may overlook you, when God walks in the store, God seeks to pull you off the shelf.
