I like sneakers.
A few years ago, the true sneakerhead at our church Boogie Bynum introduced me to the Nike app called the SNKRS app.
Through the SNKRS app, Nike occasionally does something called a Shock Drop. A Shock Drop is when Nike releases a highly anticipated pair of sneakers weeks ahead of schedule with no warning. A Shock Drop is designed to catch the consumer by surprise.
In a similar way, every now and then God will bless you with a Shock Drop. When you feel overwhelmed, God can surprise you with a Shock Drop and give you peace. When you feel defeated, God can surprise you with a Shock Drop and give you the victory. When you’re ready to give up, God can surprise you with a Shock drop and give you hope.
Every now and then, God will bless you in such a way that it catches you by surprise.
