Not too long ago, while preparing to bake brownies, I mix the egg, water, and brownie mix in a bowl. I oil the pan. I pour the mix into the pan.
As you know, when you empty the mix into the pan, there’s always something left on the spoon. The only right thing to do then is lick the spoon.
Even though the brownies had not been baked yet, even though the brownies were not yet what they were going to be, I was still able to enjoy the brownie mix.
In a similar way, there’s no need to wait until you become the finished product before you enjoy life. Even though God is not finished with you yet, enjoy the journey.
