This semester, one of the college courses I’m teaching is an Honors course entitled The Theology of Martin Luther King, Jr.
Early in the morning of the first day of class, I searched for one of the course textbooks in my library at home.
I searched and searched through thousands of books to find one, but I couldn’t find it.
Finally, after scouring through my books for thirty minutes, I found the book under a stack of folders on the floor.
Just because I didn’t see the book right away didn’t mean that it wasn’t there.
In the same way, just because you don’t see God’s plan for you right away doesn’t mean that God doesn’t have a plan.
Just like I went through book after book before I found what I was looking for, you may have to go through failure after failure before you find what you’re looking for.
But whatever you do, don’t stop looking for God’s plan.
