Since the launch of our church in January 2017, I’ve been keeping journals of sermon illustrations.
All these journals are filled with illustrations I’ve written over the past five years.
Therefore, when I’m stuck in the sermon writing process, when I need an illustration, sometimes I look through these journals for ideas.
When I look through the journals, when I flip through the pages, I discover that I already have what I need.
Similarly, when you look through the pages of your life, when you flip through the pages of your life, you’ll see that God has always provided what you need.
And the same God who provided for you back then can provide for you again.
