Class Notes

According to some of my college students, when I get excited about a topic, I talk too fast for them to take notes.

So occasionally, I would catch students consulting each other for the notes while I’m lecturing: “What did he say? Johannine what? Messianic who? Did you get that?”

When I see them whispering, I’m thinking, “Why don’t you just ask me? I’m the one with the answer!”

Regarding what’s best for our lives, sometimes we seek answers from people who may not have the answers.

Although there is safety in a multitude of counsel, I imagine that on such occasions, God is wondering, “Why don’t you ask Me? I’m the One with the answer!”
