Last year, I said to one of our members, who’s a very resourceful handyman, “My garbage disposal stopped working, Man. What I gotta do to fix it?”
He answered, “Get a new one.”
I had wanted to repair what needed to be replaced.
Sometimes, instead of trying to repair the old thing, it’s better to acquire a new thing. Don’t grieve over something that’s broken when God wants to give you something brand new. Don’t miss out on what could work because you’re stuck on what didn’t work.
