A while back, my daughter and I were playing UNO. She kept winning, however, because she had stacked the deck. She had all the Wild Cards, and Draw 4s, and Reverses, and Skips! My best card was a yellow 2! What am I supposed to do with a yellow 2?
I didn’t stand a chance, because she broke the rules.
In a similar way, even when it seems like you’re at a disadvantage, God can break the rules for you, so that things work out in your favor. God can arrange things, so that what should defeat you will be no match for you. When God is on your side, you’ll win battles you’re not supposed to win, defeat enemies you’re not supposed to defeat, and overthrow giants that should seemingly overthrow you.
