At my house, I keep the ironing board up and the iron plugged up. This isn’t a big deal because the iron is an automatic shut-off iron. That is, if the iron hasn’t been used for a certain period of time, it shuts off automatically.
When the iron gets too hot or is left unattended for too long, it shuts off automatically. It’s as if the iron knows how much heat it can bear.
In a similar way, God knows how much heat you can bear, how much pressure you can handle, how much mess you can take.
When a problem is too much for you to handle, when a burden is too much for you to bear, when the weight is too heavy for you to carry, God will shut it off and shut it down automatically. God will give you relief.
