Have you ever waited on slow Wi-Fi? You’re trying to check for the latest posts and tweets, but the cursor is just spinning, and spinning, and spinning! That’s the worst, isn’t it?
So out of frustration, you just click, and click, and click, and click! But it seems like the more you click, the worst the problem gets! The more you try to force it, the more you complicate the problem.
If we have to wait more than five minutes at a fast food restaurant, we’re tempted to leave that line and drive five minutes to another restaurant to wait four more minutes. But even though I don’t like waiting in the drive-thru at Chick-fil-A, their food makes the wait worth it!
And the truth of the matter is, when it comes to the fulfillment of God’s plan for your life, there are times when you have to wait. When you feel like you can’t figure it out or work it out, you may just have to wait it out. I know that may be a hard thing to do.
But even though we don’t like to wait, there’s worth in the wait. While you’re waiting on God to move in this situation, God is giving you time to learn some stuff from your previous situation.
