A few years ago, when I was teaching a college New Testament course, one of my students had earned 100% on every quiz.
One day, this same student—who had earned 100% on every single quiz—asks, “Uh, Professor Enis, are you going to allow us any extra credit opportunities?”
I said, “What? Are you serious, right now?”
He was serious!
This student’s goal was to go above and beyond.
And just like this stellar student went above and beyond, God will go above and beyond for you. God will go the extra mile for you.
