Course Syllabus

At the college where I teach, on the first day of class each semester, I give my students the course syllabus. The syllabus is the outline and schedule of the course.

At the bottom of the syllabus, I include a disclaimer, which indicates, “This syllabus is subject to revision and correction.” That means that throughout the course, I reserve the right to make changes to the syllabus.

Your life is the syllabus. God is the Professor.

In order to fulfill God’s purpose for our lives, our lives must be subject to revision and correction. Throughout the course of life, we should be willing to make some changes along the way.
