One day last summer I go to Barnes and Noble to purchase this new book entitled This Is Marketing, by Seth Godin.
When I walk in the store, I look on the New Release table. But I don’t see the book.
Then I look in the Business section. I still don’t see the book.
Then I approach a sales associate: “Excuse me, Ma’am, I’m looking for this book This Is Marketing, by Seth Godin. It just came out today.”
She says, “It would be on the New Release table.”
I reply, “I already looked on the New Release table. It’s not there.”
She looks on the New Release table herself. She doesn’t see it. She looks in the Business section herself. She doesn’t see it.
After searching for the book on the computer, she says, “The computer says we have six copies. Let me check in the back!”
A few minutes later, she returns from the back with six copies ofthe book! Even though we didn’t see the book right away, the book was indeed available.
In the same way, even if you don’t see what God has planned for your life right away, just keep searching until you find what God has in store for your life. If you don’t see it right away, maybe it’s in the back.
