God's Grip

Every blue moon, I play the bean bag claw machine in the lobby at Walmart.

The game is simple. Insert your coins, maneuver the claw with the joystick, and then press the trigger button. Once you press the trigger button, the claw descends and attempts to grab a toy.

More times than not, however, just when it seems as if I’m about to take hold of the toy, the toy slips out the claw’s grip.

There’s a big difference between the claw’s grip and God’s grip. God’s grip is secure. As long as you’re in God’s hands, you’re in good hands.
