Don't Just Sit There

When I was in my twenties, I owned a dog named Charlie, who was a beagle-lab mix. Although I loved Charlie dearly, he was very nervous upon his arrival home.

I would open the cage to give him access to the whole house. But he’d just sit there. I’d say, “Come on, Charlie! Run! Have fun! Be free!” But he’d just sit there. Charlie had the chance to live it up. But he’d just sit there.

In a similar way, God has given us a chance to run, to step out there, to try, to go, to live our best lives.

Don’t be like Charlie. Don’t just sit there. But run. Try. Go. Live.
